Mangaluru: Mangaluru South MLA D Vedavyas Kamath has informed that a total of eight developmental works at the cost of Rs 44.50 lakh will come up at Mugrodi, Koppalkad, Hoigebail, Baithurli, Maroli Jayanagar, Bunder and Mangaladevi shortly.
Kamath said that the foundation stones have been laid for all the eight developmental works in the respective areas on Sunday, November 24 and the work will commence soon. These developmental works mainly pertaining to road, drainage, drinking water connection among others have been taken up after such infrastructure was lost in the recent heavy rains. The general public had approached the MLA to take up these works at the earliest.
Kamath also assured that the developmental works will be completed at the earliest.
