Mangaluru: The police arrested a man on February 9 Wednesday, who attempted to break into an ATM machine.
Beerappa, a resident of Bachanalli in Koppala District, has been identified as the accused.
The theft attempt took place at a Bank of Baroda ATM near Thokottu at 2.00 am. The authorities were notified after bank surveillance officers noticed the accused’s suspicious movements on CCTV footage.
