Mangaluru: A private bus caught fire and was completely destroyed at Tiger Circle on the early morning of Wednesday February 23.
The bus was travelling from Kottur in Ballari to Mangaluru. It was engulfed in fire when it reached Tiger Circle.
The fire is thought to have been sparked by an electric arc from a short circuit. Fortunately, the fire was spotted early, as it began near the bus driver’s seat, and all passengers were safely evacuated.
The fire was immediately doused by fire tenders.
