Mangaluru: The PUC girl students of Government PU College in Uppinangady have reportedly agreed to follow the college’s uniform code and attend classes.
According to sources, they had boycotted college classes and exams till Saturday March 19.
Despite immense pressure, the college administration stood strong and followed the Karnataka High Court’s court ruling. They stated clearly that the court order will not be violated and asked students to attend classes in prescribed uniforms.
Suresh Atramajalu, the Working President of the college development and monitoring committee said, “the girls have agreed to attend classes in uniforms after persuasion from many quarters.”
