M’luru: Two women labourers killed in house wall collapse

Mangaluru: On Sunday December 19, two women labourers lost their lives when a house wall collapsed during renovation work in Sullia Taluk, Dakshina Kannada District.

The incident has happened in Sullia’s Yenmur village. The workers were taking down the wall of a toilet in Harish Naik’s residence.

According to sources, Bipathumma (60) and Nebisa (45) were working alongside the others when the toilet wall suddenly collapsed, burying the duo beneath the debris.

Both were rushed to the hospital in Puttur, but they were declared dead.

Bellare Police Inspector Anjaneya Reddy made a visit to the spot.
