Mangaluru: In yet another case of moral policing, Mangalore University students were subjected to an attack by moral police in the city, on Tuesday. The Konaje police have detained all the accused in the case.
The arrested have been identified as Suhan, Sunil, Prajwal, Abhilash and Chandra and a minor whose name has not been revealed.
As per the complaint filed by students, police have arrested six persons for moral policing.
On Tuesday, the group chased a team of college students who had been to Ullal beach, dragged two of them out of a bus, kidnapped and assaulted a student before the police rescued him. It is said that students were belonging to different faiths. After visiting a temple and mosque, they went to beach.
The accused have been included in the rowdy list.
