Mortal remains of Safwan recovered from Agumbe Ghat?

Mangaluru: Nearly two months after the abduction of 24-year-old Safwan from Chokkabettu, Surathkal here, the police, it is learnt has recovered mortal reamins, suspected to be that of Safwan in Agumbe Ghat area on Tuesday, November 28.

Based on the revelations made by the two accused arrested in connection to the case the police had intensified search in the Agumbe Ghat area.

During the course of their search they happened to have stumbled across the clothes worn by Safwan at the 10th curve of Agumbe Ghat section and skeletal remains were found from the 9th curve.

The police have collected samples to be sent for a DNA test.

It may be recalled that Safwan was abducted on October 5 from Chokkabettu, Surathkal.
