Ullal: In a tragic event, Rajesh (27), a resident of Beltangadi Taluk, was discovered deceased in the Netravati River in Ullala. He had gone missing since Friday after leaving his residence and had not returned. His parents had reported his disappearance to the Punjalkatte Bridge police station.
Yesterday, Rajesh’s motorcycle was located on the Netravati Bridge in Mangalore. This morning, local fishermen, including Prem Prakash D’Souza and his companions, retrieved the body from the water. The Ullala Police then transported the body to the Wenlock Hospital in the district. Rajesh’s parents have confirmed the identity of the body and carried out the necessary formal procedures.
