Mangaluru: BJP State President BS Yeddyurappa, today claimed that Nav Karnataka Parivarthana rally was successful in Dakshina Kannada district.
Addressing a press meet here in the city, Yeddyurappa said, “Nav Karnataka Parivarthana rally was successfull in all the eight constituencies of Dakshina Kannada district. Today Parivarthana rally will head towards Udupi and tomorrow afternoon rally will reach Karwar.”
Slamming Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, Yeddyurappa said, ” Chief Minister Siddaramaiah is a corrupt CM and Congress Karnataka in-charge Venu Gopal who is accused in sexual harassment case are looting the state.”
“There are several corruption charges against CM Siddaramaiah. Rs 4,600 thousand crore has been sanctioned for the development of roads in Bengaluru, but still the roads in Bengaluru have several potholes. With sanctioned amount for the development of roads, it would be possible to construct a new concrete road to Bengaluru” Yeddurappa said.
He also demanded Karnataka Congress in-charge KC Venugopal who is accused in a sexual harassment charges to be ousted from the position and also a Member of Parliament.
Yeddyurappa alleged that Siddaramaiah destabilized the Lokayukta to form Anti Corruption Bureau(ACB).
“Now the ACB is functioning like a institution, which gives clean chit for the corruption charges. Despite 30 charges of corruption against Siddaramaiah no probe has been done by the ACB. Not even an FIR has been lodged against Siddaramaiah,”he said
“Mangaluru is a sensitive district and if the BJP comes to power in the state, within three months of government, we will start an NIA office in Mangaluru. State government has failed to demand an NIA office for Mangaluru from the Union government,” he assured.
