Mangaluru: A driver of a police van is said to have sustained serious injuries in a head-on collision between a police van and a lorry here at Pumpwell on Friday December 1 morning.
The driver as well as several others, who have been reported to have sustained injuries in the accident were taken to various hospitals in the city for treatment. The number of the injured and the extent of their injuries is not yet known.
The bus, belonging to Karnataka State Reserve Police collided into the goods lorry enroute to Kasargod opposite Indiana Hospital near Pumpwell here. Police personnel were said to have been in the bus at the time of the accident.
