Rise in Covid: 12 more schools shut in DK - 1 min read

Mangaluru: The number of students infected with Covid – 19 is on the rise in Dakshina Kannada, with over 400 students having tested positive.

As many as 68 school teachers have tested positive, forcing the health authorities to close a few schools.

From January 1 to 27, a total of 421 students and 68 teachers tested Covid positive.

Mangaluru Taluk has the highest infection rate among schoolchildren. However, no students have been admitted to the hospital.
