Mangaluru: “Sulige Sikkidaaga – Be fluid as Water”, an award winning Kannada/Tulu film by Director Sandeep Malani was screened at Bejai church hall on Tuesday, October 4.
The film was screened at the meeting of the Ladies Social Service League. After the screening, Sandeep Malani interacted with the audiences and the film was reviewed.
Sulige Sikkidaaga stars Bollywood actress Kalpana Pandit in the lead role. The film is based on women empowerment shows Kalpana overcoming all obstacles and difficulties to stand on her feet. The cast also included Vivek Punjabi, Akash Hora, Cliff Janke and Meena Malani.
The audience gave a good review and a lot of positive feedback.
Sandeep Malani also briefed about his upcoming film “Maa- Yeh cine-maa hai”. He said that ‘Maa’ is also based on woman and has over 100 characters in it. Most of them were from Mangaluru.
Maa’s star cast including Meena Malani, Geeta Suvarna, Chirag Kundapur, Varsha Acharya, Jasion Melroy, Winnie Ferandes, Ajith Shetty and Jaison Dias were present at the screening.
