School teacher injured after speeding bike hits her

Mangaluru: A school teacher sustained severe injuries after a speeding bike hit her near Bunts Hostel here on December 15.

The injured woman Arpana Kamath is a teacher at Ramakrishna Higher Primary School.

According to the eye witnesses, the over speeding youth in a bid to avoid a car taking u-turn at Bunts Hostel hit the teacher. However, the locals who gathered at the spot rushed the woman to a nearby private hospital.

Traffic police are yet to register a case in this regard.
