St Aloysius College hails new Aloysian CA and ACCA Affiliates

Mangaluru: The Aloysians, who recently acquired the qualification of Chartered Accountant and ACCA Affiliates were recognized and honoured during the Valedictory Ceremony of Commercio – 2022 by the Department of Commerce, St Aloysius College.  The Programme was held in the Eric Mathias Hall on Oct 28, 2022, at 3 p.m.  The programme began with a prayer song rendered by Joann and Blanch. 

Eleven Students – Jeevitha B, Jessica Pinto, Radley Lawson Mendonca, Rodney Pinto and Shubra Shetty were honoured for becoming Chartered Accountants.

Jeevan Jin Jose, Lishelle Pearl DSouza, Shivani Kateel, Venkatesh Baliga, Vritika Shalwin, Amelita Martis were felicitated for becoming ACCA Affiliates. 

The Chief Guest on the occasion, Athmika Amin, Executive Director, J. V. Springs, Mangalore, in her message to the gathering, emphasized the importance of participation in various activities to improvise one’s soft skills. 

Rev. Dr Praveen Martis, Principal, presided. He complimented the C A and ACCA Affiliates and congratulated the team led by Nisha (Staff coordinator) and Leanza and Adnan (student coordinators) for the meticulous organization of ‘COMMERCIO – 2022’, an inter-class commerce contest. 

Dr Denis Fernandes, Director of Arrupe Block, and Dr Manuel Tauro, Dean of Commerce Faculty were present.  Dr Zeena D’Souza, HoD of Commerce Professional, welcomed the gathering.  Dr Shobha, HoD of Commerce conducted the felicitation programme. 

On behalf of the achievers, Radley Mendonca shared his journey of becoming a Chartered Accountant and Venkatesh Baliga spoke about how one should prepare to become ACCA Affiliate.  Nisha expressed words of gratitude.  The program was compered by Mischelle.
