Mangaluru: A young person making his way home after playing with friends in a field was tragically stabbed in the Kalavaru area, falling within the Surathkal police station’s jurisdiction.
The suspects in custody are Prashanth (28), Dhanraj (23), and Yajnesh (22), all residents of Kalavaru in Surathkal. The victim, Safwan (23), who lives in Shantigudde, Bajpe Kalavaru, sustained fatal stab injuries during his journey back home following a playtime with friends. He was swiftly transported to a private hospital in Bajpe and later transferred to Mangaluru for medical care.
