Mangaluru: In a distressing event, a CISF PSI took his own life by using his service revolver near the main gate of New Mangaluru Port.
The deceased has been identified as Zakir Hussain, a 58-year-old Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) PSI, originally from Raichur. Hussain was on night shift duty at the NMPT main gate.
After concluding his night shift duty at 6:30 am on Sunday, Zakir went to the restroom where he tragically ended his own life by using his service pistol. The motive behind this suicide remains unknown, and a case has been filed at the Panambur police station.
