Mangaluru: In a tragic incident, a student died of heart attack at Alike near Vittal of Bantwal Taluk in the District.
The deceased has been identified as Anvita Hegde, student of standard IX of Vittal Jaycees English Medium School and the only daughter of Vinay Hegde and Sai Geetha, a resident of Chandadi in Alike Village. Anvitha Hegde, a meritorious student suddenly complained of a chest pain late night on Tuesday May 17. It is learnt that she died of a massive heart attack.
Jaycees School has been closed on Wednesday May 18 as mark of respect to the deceased student.
