Udupi: Former minister of BJP Kota Srinivas Poojary, again slams the state government for not fulfilling the promise made amid Karnataka Assembly election 2023, as promised to provide 10kg free rice once coming to power, kannadigas now see no ray of hope of enjoying the promised rice supply, Poojary, who earlier had threatened the state government of exposing the scandals now demands for apology by the government in power.
Talking to the media, Poojary said, “The Food Security Act was enacted by the UPA government but it was not implemented. The Food Security Act dates back to the Manmohan Singh Era. DK and Lad say that this is an act made when the Congress government was in power, we did not expect such words from the DCM. Both must reconsider their statement.”
