Udupi: During his visit to Udupi district progress review meeting, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah inspected the D. Devaraj Urs Backward Classes Post-Matric Girl’s Hostel and engaged in discussions with the students. He was accompanied by district in-charge minister Laxmi Hebbalkar, fisheries minister Mankala Vaidya and MLC Manjunath Bhandari. Notable attendees at the event included Deputy Commissioner Vidyakumari, former minister Vinay Kumar Sorake, as well as Prasad Raj Kanchan and Ashok Kumar Kodavoor.
The visit to the girl’s hostel provided the Chief Minister with a first-hand understanding of its facilities and the chance to interact with the students, gaining valuable insights into their needs and concerns.
