Fr. Mahesh D’Souza death case: Kaup CI roped into investigation

Udupi: A case of unnatural death has been registered at the Shirva Police Station in connection with the alleged suicide of Fr Mahesh D’Souza, principal of Don Bosco CBSE School, Shirva. A press statement was released by the district police on November 6 in this regard.

It can be recalled that Fr Mahesh, who was also the assistant parish priest at Our Lady of Health Church, Shirva, allegedly hung himself in his room at the school late on October 11 night.

According to the press release, Nisha James, Superintendent of Police has deputed Mahesh Prasad, Kaup Circle Inspector to carry on the investigation.
