Karkala: On June 6, a tragic incident in Belman of Karkala has claimed a life of young man riding bike, the accident occurred at night while Praveen (30), a resident of Pilar was on his way home, the bike lost balance because of drenched roads due to heavy rain in the coastal part of India, the bike collided with a huge trunk on the road leaving Praveen severely wounded.
The trunk would have been moved earlier, but it was not moved until the irresponsibility resulted in a brutal accident claiming a innocent life.
The locals who witnessed the accident happening, rushed towards the spot and took him the hospital, while on the way, Praveen was pronounced dead, the traffic on the state highway was completely disrupted for several hours post accident, lately the the locals authority and the officials of forest department moved the tree off road, Karkala police has taken this matter into consideration.
