Malady: Forest Dept finally traps female leopard

Udupi: A leopard was trapped in a cage placed by the Forest Department in the morning of Thursday April 28. The leopard had created panic by preying on domestic animals in Malady area of Udupi District.

The trapped female leopard is two-and-half years old. A dog was tied to the cage to attract the animal and was placed at the plantation near Sri Nandikeshwara temple at Malady.

Since 2018 this is the fifth leopard that has been trapped at the same plantation.
