Udupi: A man went missing from Byndoor here on Tuesday June 14. Praful Venugopal stated that his father went missing after they came for a pilgrimage with his family.
He stated that after a hike, they had breakfast at Sai Vishram Resort. His father went to his room, which is 10 metres away from the dining hall, to use the restroom. That was the last time he was seen by his family.
He was seen walking on the beach in front of the resort. However, eyewitnesses also saw him asking for directions on the road. Venugopal claimed that all of his father’s belongings including his phone, wallet, and suitcase, were still in the room.
A FIR has been filed by the family.
