Udupi: A gang of four persons have been arrested for allegedly planning a robbery by consuming ganja and drugs at a flat near V. P. Nagara in Manipal.
The arrested have been identified as 27-year-old Muzamil, 25-year-old Mohammad Anaz Saheb, 26-year-old Mohammad Rafique and 19-year-old Niyal. It is learnt that one of the accused Raqib was on the run during the police raid.
On January 13, a man was arrested for planning a robbery with drugs in a room of a flat near 3rd Main Road in V. P. Nagara. Police has recovered 5.0 grams of MDMA, 110 grams of ganja, weapons for robbery and five phones from them. A case has been registered at Manipal Police Station in this regard.
