Udupi: Assault on KSRTC staff, two arrested

Udupi: Two persons have been arrested by the police after a KSRTC bus driver and conductor were assaulted on October 13 near Karkala Junction.

A complaint had been filed against Kiran Alva and Pravin Kunder in this case at Padubidri Police Station.

The incident happened when two passengers were alighting from the bus. The accused, who were in a car, halted the bus, pulled the driver Saranappa Kambali and Halasiddappa off the bus, and then assaulted them.
The two suffered injuries. The suspects were arrested and produced before the Udupi court.
