Udupi: The BJP will not win more than 65 seats in the State. Their countdown has begun, said Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) State President D. K. Shivakumar and added that only 60 days are left after which they will pack and go home.
Speaking to mediapersons, he said, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi did not come when there was flood and difficulty in the State. Now the election has come. All reports have shown that the BJP will be defeated. So PM Modi is visiting may be to patch things up,” he said.
“Earlier, elections were held under the leadership of Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai but now why the party is projecting PM Modi,” he questioned and added, “Therefore, it has been proved that they will not govern. The leaders here have lost faith of the people,” he said.
