Udupi: Former Deputy Chief Minister and Senior Party Leader K. S. Eshwarappa has said that the BJP Government will win more than 150 seats and return to power in the State.
Addressing a press conference at private hotel here in Manipal ahead of the Vijay Sankalpa Yatra in Udupi City, he said, “Earlier, there was no candidate for the BJP to contest. Now there are more than 10 aspirants for each Constituency. This is a clear example of the party’s strength and growth,” he said.
“In the past, the party was not given an absolute majority by the people. This time, the ratha yatra will help in getting an absolute majority,” he said.
“People have noticed the leadership of the BJP at the Centre through World Leader Prime minister Narendra Modi and other leaders and through Former Chief Minister Yediyurappa, Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai and BJP State President Nalin Kumar Kateel in the State. During the Vijay Sankalpa Yatra, we will highlight the development works of the Centre and the State. Corrupt Congress will help the BJP win,” he said.
“Through Shivakumar we will tell the people about the failure of the Congress and inform on corrupt rule of Siddaramaiah,” he said.
