Udupi: A speeding car rammed into a scooter and dragged the rider for 10 to 15 metres at Cornet Junction in Kodavoor Village of Malpe.
Fortunately, the rider escaped unhurt with minor injuries. The horrific scene of the accident was captured on a CCTV installed on the side of the road.
Locals rushed to the spot soon after the accident and lifted the rider up and treated him. The accident took place when the scooter rider was crossing the junction. It is learnt that there was no major casualties.
