Udupi: A cow that fell into an open well in the backyard of a house at Kodapadi in Gujjadi Village was rescued by the activists of the Hindu Jagarana Vedike with the help of locals.
The cow, which had gone to the backyard in search of fodder, fell into a deep well which has no wall and was mooing in the water fearing for its life when the family noticed a noise in the well and informed the locals.
The cow was rescued after an hour-long operation with the help of Activists of the Hindu Jagarana Vedike.
