Udupi: While crossing the road a man was hit by the bus and died near Dharmavaram Auditorium in Brahmavar of the City.
The deceased has been identified as Indu Shekar. Indu Shekar was hit by an express bus travelling from Kundapura to Udupi while he was crossing the highway. He died on the spot.
Lack of streetlights on the road led to the accident, it is alleged.
