Udupi: The Udupi District Unit of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) staged a protest in front of the Deputy Commissioner’s Office against the illegal detention of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Leader Manish Sisodia.
Hundreds of AAP workers marched from Manipal Circle to the Deputy Commissioner’s Office carrying brooms.
Speaking on the occasion, AAP Leader Prabhakar Poojary Thottam said, “The Central Government is misusing the CBI. By arresting Manish Sisodia, the right to Democracy has been taken away, he said.
“The Delhi Excise Policy has been signed by the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi. Therefore, the Governor should be the first accused in this case. The law is the same for everyone,” he said.
