Udupi: A bike-borne miscreant committed serial theft at four shops on National Highway 66 near Uchila.
CCTV footage shows a man breaking the shop shutters while wearing a jacket and helmet.
According to sources the theft happened around 5.00 am.
The thief reportedly only took petty cash from the counter at Mohammed Rafiq’s cyber cafe, Hotel Spice, Shashi Lunch home, and a bakery shop.
According to the complaint, the cyber cafe had laptops worth lakhs of rupees, but the thief did not take those.
Police officials visited the spot and further investigation is on.
