Udupi: Two pythons have been captured at a ground near Beedinagudde here. Four pythons were found in a place where too many weeds are present near the migrant workers’ colony in Beedinagudde. This had created an atmosphere of great anxiety.
In this background, reptile expert U. B. Nagaraj Rao reached the spot and with the help of locals, rescued the two pythons. The pythons, which is about 10 to 12 feet long, has been captured and Social Worker Nithyananda Volakadu too assisted in the rescue operation.
The pythons have been safely released to the forest.
