Hubballi: In response to the alleged rape and murder of Soujanya at Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala, the Dalit federation and various organizations came together to protest. They demonstrated by wearing black attire and held a rally starting from Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s circle, passing through the tehsildar’s office.
Furthermore, they demanded justice for Soujanya’s death and her family. They urged the state government to conduct a thorough investigation and provide appropriate punishment to the accused. They submitted their memorandum to the state government through the tehsildars.
