Around 15 people were injured in Sanshi village, Kundgola taluk, after being attacked by rabid dogs on the night of October 6 and early morning on October 7. Several individuals, including Ashoka Basava and Nilavva Honnalli, were severely bitten. Due to the lack of proper treatment at local health centers, some victims were sent to Hubli KMC Hospital.

The incident has caused fear in the village, and officials are working to control the situation. Medical Officer Sudha Kotegaudru stated that only emergency ARV medicine is available.
