Ullal: In an unfortunate incident, a pickup truck transporting fish overturned on the Netravati Bridge due to a tire blowout. Thankfully, no injuries occurred as a result of the incident, with only minor disruptions to traffic flow.
While en route from Malpe port to Ullal Oil Mill, the vehicle carrying fish experienced a front tire blowout upon reaching the Netravati Bridge. Consequently, the pickup truck, which was traveling in one direction, collided with the bridge’s retaining wall and toppled over. The Mangaluru South traffic police ensured the uninterrupted flow of other vehicles affected by the incident. Fortunately, the pickup truck’s driver sustained only minor injuries. The fish cargo from the vehicle was scattered across the road.
