Hassan police have arrested three individuals—Jamaal Ali, Farooq Ali, and Akmal Haq—suspected to be illegal Bangladeshi immigrants residing in the city. The arrests occurred on Tuesday after police received a tip-off about their activities.
The trio had been living in a house owned by a local resident, Zubair, located at Geddahalla on the 80-ft road. They were working as construction laborers and had presented fake Aadhar cards indicating West Bengal addresses, claiming to be from that state.
The District Crime Division Police conducted a raid on their residence, leading to their apprehension. Following the arrests, the Pension Mohalla police registered a case against the suspects for further investigation.
