Deputy Director of School Education Suryakant Madane has suspended Khajappa Doddamani, headmaster of Government Model Primary School, Station Ganagapur (Afzalpur taluk), for allegedly selling milk powder meant for the Ksheera Bhagya Scheme on the black market.
The action follows a viral video showing Doddamani being attacked by individuals accusing him of this misconduct. Madane formed a committee of taluk officers from School Education and Mid Day Meals to investigate the claims. The committee’s report, submitted on September 13, confirmed the allegations and highlighted further discrepancies, including the failure to form the School Development Management Committee (SDMC).
As a result of the findings, Doddamani has been suspended pending a departmental enquiry. Madane has also directed the Assistant Director of Mid Day Meals of Afzalpur to file a police complaint against Doddamani.
