Hubballi: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai’s visit to Hubballi-Dharawad West MLA Arvind Bellad’s residence on Sunday April 24 has raised several speculations.
Like other leaders, Bellad too has been eyeing a Cabinet seat.
Bommai stopped by Bellad’s house on Gokul Road for breakfast after attending a programme at the Ayurveda College. He spoke with Bellad for almost 30 minutes.
Speaking to medipersons Bommai said that it was a courtesy visit. “A few words about business were exchanged. There was no politics,” he added.
“Since the Chief Minister was in Hubballi, Bommai’s family was invited to breakfast. The High Command will decide on my induction into the Cabinet,” Bellad said.
