Hubballi: “The government might have involved in the murder of Dr MM Kalburgi. I suspect that in order to stop right wing associations, government might have killed the writer”, alleged Sri Ram Sene convenor Pramod Muthalik.
Speaking to reporters, Muthalik alleged that there is an attempt to divert the case. “It must be a fair probe. The accused must get severe punishment. Allegations made that right wing activists are involved in the murder case is false. This is an attempt to divert the investigation of the case”, he said.
He also alleged that the real culprits have been protected by making allegations against Hindu organisations. He urged the Home minister K J George to take responsibility for the murder of renowned scholar. “Why the security given to the writer was taken back even though they knew that he had threat? Why they didnot install CCTV near his residence?” he questioned.
He also questioned about the four naxalites who participated in the protest rally undertaken condemning the murder of Kalburgi in Dharwad. “Are the Naxalites peace lovers?” questioned Muthalik.
He said that a notice will be issued to all those who accused Sri Ram Sene for murdering the writer. Chennaveera Kanavi, Giraddi Govind Raj, K Neela and many others will be issued notice. He urged them to stop making false allegations. If they have evidence, let them produce it to the CID, he said.
“Narendra Dabolkar is a Naxalite. He was in contact with many Naxals. He brought crores of money from abroad, through trusts founded in his family members name”, accused Muthalik.
