Hubballi: The BJP has maintained a long-standing expectation that the Modi government will not remain in power in the country by 2024. District in-charge minister Santosh Lad has expressed, “We are open to embracing any MLA who opts to join the Congress party.”
Speaking to reporters in the city, he mentioned, “We are preparing for the Lok Sabha elections, and our party workers have extensively engaged in door-to-door visits. We are taking the BJP’s activities to every household. It’s evident to the public that while the state has seen the construction of party offices, hospitals are still missing. I’ve examined the Income Tax report, which shows no political affiliations. It’s now in the hands of the authorities to investigate potential financial irregularities within both the BJP and Congress. A decade ago, they conducted investigations, but no individuals were incarcerated.
In the past three months, we have allocated Rs 36,000 crore, and this hasn’t led to any disruptions in ongoing development projects. The BJP has initiated tenders worth Rs 500 crore from the originally granted Rs 100 crore.
