The Old Hubballi police have arrested a son and daughter-in-law who were on the run after allegedly murdering the father, Nagaraj, following a property dispute. The incident occurred on November 19, when a heated argument between Nagaraj and his son, Annappa, escalated into violence. Annappa and his wife, Lakshmi, reportedly assaulted Nagaraj, leading to severe injuries.
After the attack, the couple fled the scene, leaving Nagaraj in critical condition. He was rushed to KIMS Hospital but later succumbed to his injuries. A case was registered at the Old Hubballi police station, and an investigation was launched. The police tracked down the accused, Annappa Mysuru and his wife Lakshmi, and arrested them. They have been remanded to judicial custody.
