Kalaburagi: In a shocking incident, a man was chased and assaulted with machetes in broad daylight within the premises of Kalaburagi District Court, leaving him severely injured.

The victim, identified as Dheeraj, was attacked by three suspects – Prashant Patil (20), Viresh Patil (19), and Ramu Patil (38) – allegedly due to personal enmity.
The assault was thwarted by members of the public and lawyers present in the court premises, who intervened and apprehended the suspects before handing them over to the police.
Dheeraj, who sustained injuries from the machete attack, has been admitted to a private hospital for treatment.
A case has been registered at Station Bazar Police Station, and further investigation is underway.
