Ballari: Corporation Revenue Inspector Abdul Khader was caught by Lokayukta officials for demanding a bribe of Rs. 80,000 to sanction form No. 2 and 3 for account change on Wednesday November 16.

First-grade Revenue Inspector Abdul Khader was demanding bribe from the case worker Chinnaiah and Jeweller Kiran Yadav have been asked to change their land accounts in form number. But they have been roaming around the office from September 2. In addition, Rs. 80,000 was deposited through a broker called Yousuf.

Kiran Yadav lodged a complaint with the Lokayukta office on Wednesday November 16 following which Lokayukta officials registered a case. Revenue Inspector Abdul Khader paid Rs. 80,000 through broker USOF. Lokayukta Superintendent P. A. Purushothama said in a release that the Lokayukta officials conducted a raid and detained two persons while accepting the bribe money.
