Ballari: Mining Baron Gali Janardhana Reddy announced that his wife Lakshmi Aruna will contest against his elder brother, BJP Leader Gali Somashekhar Reddy at City Constituency.
Somashekhar will be sitting BJP MLA from the Constituency.
Lakshmi Aruna will be the Party candidate from Kalyana Rajya Pragati Paksha, newly started outfit of the Janardhana Reddy who recently quit BJP.
According to the sources, Janardhana Reddy wanted his both brothers i.e. Karunakara Reddy and Somashekhar Reddy to join his Party.
“However as they are not ready, now he is fielding wife,” said sources close to him.
Reddy’s Party comes as a new headache for the ruling BJP as the party is attracting the BJP’s disgruntled leaders to join the party and contest in the election.
