Ballari: After a video of Parameshwar Naik abusing Prime Minister Narendra Modi went viral on social media, MLA P. T. Parmeshwar Naik has tendered an apology.
He said “I have spoken like that because the farmers have suffered a lot due to the price rise of essential commodities and their pain and tears made me emotional”.
“I immediately apologise to Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” he said in a video message. But I condemn the price rise,” he added.
A video of Parameshwara Naik and his supporters referring to Prime Minister Narendra Modi during a political debate in Harappanahalli has gone viral on social media. It drew the ire of BJP workers and Modi’s supporters.
