Ballari: A case has been booked against a Forest Department staff for allegedly spreading derogatory messages on social media, informed the Ballari police.
Deputy Range Forest Officer (DRFO) Sanjeeva Poojary Kaniyooru is accused of spreading derogatory messages on Facebook.
Police claim that on December 30, 2021, Kaniyooru posted most of the “false and baseless” messages.
The Police filed a case against Sanjeeva Poojary under IPC Sections 505(2) and 295(a) based on a complaint made by Sachin Rai, a resident of Peruvaje in Sullia.
