Ballari: Former MP Ugrappa has hit back at Transport Minister Sriramulu, who claimed that the National and State leaders of the Congress Party were out on bail in the National Herald Case, but were also out on conditional bail in connection with the case of grabbing of public property.
Addressing a press conference here on Monday October 17, Ugrappa said that a criminal case has been registered in connection with the cheating of public against Minister Sriramulu. He is out on bail now. In view of this, Ugrappa demanded Sriramalu’s immediate resignation from his post.
In 2011, a case of land grabbing was registered and as per the directions of the State High Court, a criminal case was filed in the District Court. This is a land grabbing case involving Parameshwara Reddy, the father-in-law of former Minister Janardhana Reddy. Ramulu is the sixth accused in the case and is currently out on bail, he alleged.
