Ballari: Three workers were injured in a mishap when an explosion tore through the oxygen plant of the Bellary Thermal Power Station (BTPS) on Friday March 18.
According to sources, an explosion in electrical switchgear has been attributed as the reason for the blast, which occurred at 7.30 pm on Friday. The exploded panel tore off a pair of oxygen pipelines, resulting in a fire.
Three workers who were working at the factory at the time were injured in the accident and two of them were in critical condition.
