Bidar: An eight-year-old boy was killed and six others were injured after the bus on which they were traveling collided head-on with a truck near Halbarga village in Bhalki taluk.
The accident occurred on National Highway 50. The KKRTC bus was en route to Bidar from Bhalki, while the truck was traveling in the opposite direction.
In the accident, an eight-year-old boy named Naresh Jadhav, a resident of Hyderabad, died on the spot, and six other passengers on board the bus sustained injuries. The injured were shifted to Bidar Institute of Medical Sciences (BRIMS). Dhannur police have registered a case in this regard.
